Ebony

I have over 10 years experience working with various disabilities and behaviours. I am dependable, epithetic and honest.

I love being able to build relationships with you. I am passionate about advocating, supporting, and creating a tailored and holistic goals and support for you and your family. Being in the industry I am aware of the gaps and struggles that come with diagnosis, for both you and your family. With goals and visions to support as much as I can with the resources, knowledge and experience I have.

I love building relationships, supporting and developing my skills and learning from my clients just as much as they learn from me.

I love drawing, crafting, out doors, boardgames. anything Disney, Harry Potter or Animals is something that you can talk all day to me about.

I love and value being able to part of your story as I support you to learn, grow and develop skills and continue to be the best you, you can be.

I am passionate about beginning my journey as a disability support worker, as it allows me to make a genuine and positive difference in people’s lives every day. I find great fulfillment in helping individuals maintain their independence, supporting their overall wellbeing, and assisting them in working towards their personal goals.

I value the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the people I support, and I am motivated by seeing the positive impact of my care and encouragement. This role gives me a strong sense of purpose, while also helping me continue to grow my empathy, patience, and communication skills.

Outside of work, I enjoy relaxing by watching movies and TV shows, following the footy, and spending quality time playing games with friends. My favourite movie of all time is The Shining, and I’m a big fan of good food—especially a classic Roman carbonara.

I am a proud mum of two, including my autistic daughter, who has inspired my passion for supporting others. While I’m new to the disability support sector, I bring genuine empathy, patience, and a strong desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives. My personal experiences have given me valuable insight into the importance of understanding, consistency, and creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals can thrive.

I love connecting with people through shared interests and creative activities. Some of my favourite things include baking, arts and crafts (I’m currently enjoying colouring), Disney movies, and computer games. My favourite movie is Aladdin, and I’m always happy to bond over good food — especially quesadillas!

I’m enthusiastic, caring, and committed to learning and growing in this field so I can provide the best possible support tailored to each person’s needs and goals.

Ebony

As a Neurodivergent Women with 10 years of combined experience in youth case management, disability supports, and social programs, I bring a warm, compassionate approach rooted in real-world practice. As a school counsellor, and support worker I’ve seen first hand where systems and supports fall short — and where small, timely interventions can change a life. As someone diagnosed later in life sometime all you need to know is you’re not alone in the process or the system.

I’m passionate about helping people feel capable, heard, understood, and genuinely supported. In my work I’ve noticed that processes, options, and supports aren’t always easy to navigate; they can be overwhelming, worrying, and hard on both individuals and families. That’s why my focus is on easing pressure, clarifying choices, and making the path a little simpler, and more connected.

I love being part of someone’s story and celebrating their successes, no matter how small the step. I tailor support to your needs and goals, work alongside your family and other providers, and connect you with the right resources and solutions to fit your life — not the other way around.

We starting small with big dreams: to be approachable, practical, and relentless in supporting positive outcomes. I’m here to work with you, for you, and alongside your family. Thank you for letting me and our team be part of your story.
